After crossing the India/Nepal border for Visa/Immigration formalities, you'll reach the quaint village of Lumbini. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Following a short break, visit the sacred Birthplace of Lord Buddha. Lumbini, nestled in the Kapilvastu district of Lumbini Zone in the western Terai of Nepal, is where Queen Mahamaya gave birth to Gautama, the Buddha. Emperor Ashoka, in the 21st year of his coronation, visited the birthplace and erected a pillar on the sacred spot. Post breakfast, embark on a drive to Shravasti, covering 180 km in approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Explore Sravasti, known as Sahet Mahet, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, where Lord Buddha performed miracles. This sacred site holds the distinction of providing shelter to Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetyana Vihar (Jetvana Garden), a vihar generously offered by the affluent merchant Anath Pindika. Witness the spiritual ambience of this place, where the Anand Bodhi Tree stands as a testament to the historical and religious significance of Sravasti.
