Following Navaratri is an important Indian celebration called Dussehra. After ten days of fighting, Lord Rama slew the 10-headed monster Ravana, a victory known as the "tenth-day victory."

Throughout the northern, central, and western regions of India, there are ten days dedicated to the Ramlila narrative and the burning of enormous statues of Ravana. Songs and narratives are presented at outdoor fairs throughout the festival, along with plays and musicals based on the Ramlila. You should be able to witness Mysore Palace's nearly 100,000 lights shining during the night spectacle and a torchlight procession at the Bannimantap Parade Grounds during Dussehra in Mysore.
